  • Career Development and Course Expo - Melbourne Burwood Campus

    Are you considering further study to expand your career options or pursue an area you are really passionate about? 

    Whether you’ve already completed a degree or have never studied at university before, our Career Development and Course Expo will provide all the information you need to get your goals on track.

    This highly interactive event will provide the opportunity to gather information specific to your situation. Speak one-on-one with a range of experts, including teaching staff, faculty professionals, careers counsellors, current students and administrative staff about: courses, graduate outcomes and industry trends, flexible study options, credit for prior learning, scholarships and fees, admission requirements and the application process. 

    Our admissions team will also be able to assist you to apply in person on the night for courses commencing in July.

    Event Details
    A Course Expo will run from 5-7pm. Speak one-on-one with a range of experts, including teaching staff and faculty professionals about your course options. Ask questions about industry links, internships, study abroad and course structures.

    A range of information sessions will also be held throughout the evening, these include.

    Unfamiliar with our application process? Staff will demonstrate how to apply to Deakin and explain our application portal. Staff will be on hand to help you apply in person on the night. If you are thinking of applying on the night, bring along any supporting documentation you might have.

    5–7 pm
    Unsure exactly what course or career you want to undertake? Our professional careers counsellors will be available to speak to you one-on-one about your study options in relation to career planning and future prospects.    

    Pathways to Deakin and Credit for Prior Learning
    5.30–6 pm
    There are many ways to get into your dream course at Deakin. Hear about the many different pathways to Deakin and the process for gaining credit for prior study or industry experience. 

    Cloud Learning at Deakin
    6–6.30 pm
    Thinking about studying off campus or online? Our transition team will take you through our cloud learning capabilities and demonstrate the ease of online study.

Drop into one of Deakin’s Learning Centers in Werribee, Craigieburn or Dandenong to chat about your study options in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Deakin staff will be available to speak to you one-on-one about your study options at a Deakin Learning Centre and our other locations, including via the cloud (online).
